I am Shreya Gupta, a Grade 12 student at Suncity School 37D, Gurugram. As an aspiring Psychologist, mental health sits at the centre of everything I do.
My work began with a simple conviction: that the skills that help young people thrive - Confidence, Communication, Empathy, Resilience - are rarely taught, and least available to the communities that need them most. That belief became SkillARC Foundation, which I founded to bring Life skills, Leadership and Mental well-being to underprivileged children and youth.
Alongside SkillARC, I write. Echoes of a Growing Soul is my upcoming book for teenagers navigating adolescence, and The Mind Chronicle - which I founded and edit - is a Psychology newsletter that turns complex ideas into something a young reader can actually use. I also founded ZenOut, a Mental-wellness startup exploring how technology can support emotional balance, and I write on Psychology and youth issues for Youth Ki Awaaz.
"Real growth begins when knowledge is met with empathy, and ambition is grounded in self-awareness."
I believe growth happens when learning meets feeling. My work tries to hold both - teaching practical skills while making space for emotions, mental health and self-understanding.
Grade 12 student with a keen interest in adolescent mental health and emotional well-being.
